Students who are citizens of the EU/EEA:

Students who are citizens from outside the EU/EEA:

The average tuition fees for students from outside the EU/EEA are 12,200 USDUniversity currency: 113,800 SEK per year, ranging from 6,500 USDUniversity currency: 60,100 SEK to 15,400 USDUniversity currency: 144,400 SEK.

Tuition fees may vary for each study programme.

Application deadlines

Stockholm University has two admissions rounds each semester.

• International students are encouraged to apply in the first round (October–January) to allow time for tuition payments, residence permits, and housing.
• The second round (March–April) is only open for a limited number of programmes and is for EU/EEA students only, as non-EU/EEA students won’t have enough time to secure residence permits.
