Description:

Our Master’s programme in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development will introduce you to the complexity of interactions between humans and nature.

You will learn how to use resilience thinking as an approach to managing social-ecological systems and to help solve real-world problems.

The programme aims to enhance your knowledge of the complex interactions between social and ecological dynamics at different scales; particularly ecosystem management and governance in the context of change and uncertainty. You are introduced to different research approaches and methods for studying coupled social and ecological systems. The aim is to provide students with insights into problem-driven transdisciplinary environmental research.
