Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA)

The Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) is the only public university in Estonia offering higher education in fine arts, design, architecture, art culture and conservation. Located in Tallinn, it is an active study and research institution and the leading national centre of innovation in visual culture.

Our programmes are designed for artists and designers with the ambition to develop and enrich their individual practice with cross-disciplinary investigations. EKA encourages bold experimentation, and students are able to take courses and workshops outside of their specialisations.

Small groups of carefully selected students enable a personal, one-on-one approach to instruction and family-like, close-knit atmosphere. The lecturers and instructors are professionals in their field—internationally recognised artists, architects, designers, and scholars who provide unique, individualised study and personal mentorship.

Studies take place in a new award-winning building with an innovative and inspiring environment. The building is full of modern workshops, studios and other facilities for our students and staff.
