WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management

The WHU Master of Science experience is unlike any other. It is challenging, dynamic, and highly inspiring. Unique features of our programs include flexible curricula, a semester abroad, an internship, which offers insights into the professional world, and the option of completing a Double Degree with one of our selected partner universities. We offer a choice of four master's programs - Master in Management, Master in Entrepreneurship, Master in Finance, or Master in International Business - with the option to combine courses from all four. This way, we ensure that a Master from WHU will make you stand out from the crowd. The language of instruction of the Programs is English and all courses take place on our campus in Vallendar.

Application deadlines

Studies start in September and the general application deadlines are:

  • 30 April for candidates requiring a study visa
  • 31 May for candidates from EU/EEA countries as well as from Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand and the USA

English requirements

When you apply to WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, you will need to prove your English proficiency.

  • This business school accepts IELTS. The general minimum IELTS score for Masters degrees is 7.0 overall.
  • This business school accepts TOEFL iBT. The general minimum TOEFL score for Masters degrees is 100 overall. The TOEFL institution code (DI Code) for WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management is: 0682.
  • This business school accepts Cambridge English certificates (CAE/CPE).
  • This business school accepts other proofs of English proficiency.

    An English language proficiency test is not required if your first language is English or your Bachelor was completed entirely in English. In this case, proof from your university is required.

    A TOEFL iBT score of at least 105, or IELTS of 7.5 is recommended due to the requirements by some of WHU's partner universities for the study abroad semester.
