The degree programme aims to train professional figures who are familiar with and understand the physico-spatial and organisational characteristics of environmental contexts, in terms of their natural and anthropic components, their transformation over time and the social, economic and regional context to which they belong, and who are capable of surveying these contexts through an analysis of their geo-morphologic, historic, cultural and urban fabric characteristics.
Graduates develop specific competences in analysis, evaluation, interpretation, representation and design procedures, in the management of urban and non-urban areas of primarily cultural value, and the management of related technical, administrative and production procedures.

The master degree programme in Green Area and Landscape Planning enables students to enter the State Examination, so as to register under Section A of the Council of Professional Agronomists and Foresters, and the Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Curators.
The Degree course is established jointly with Politecnico di Torino (Turin Polytechnic), the University of Genoa and the University of Turin.
Application and admission: Open with entry requirements examination.
Recommended, not mandatory. Attendance at laboratories is, however, mandatory for at least 70%.
