Molde University College - or Høgskolen i Molde, HiMolde / HiM, in Norwegian - is a small university specialised in logistics. It was founded in 1994 through a merger of existing colleges.
Today, HiMolde offers three international Master's programmes taught in English and an international PhD programme in logistics. There are roughly 2,600 students enrolled in the university, 10% of which come from abroad. HiMolde is made up of three faculties:
In the Norwegian higher education system, Molde University College is regarded as a "Specialized University" in logistics. This status means it serves as Norway's national competence centre in education and research of logistics and transport. At the same time, HiMolde also offers degree programmes outside its specialization.
