Description:

The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design trains you to become a well-rounded graphic designer, capable of creating strong visual identities and innovative communication materials suited for all print and digital media. With a practice-focused teaching approach and active industry professionals as instructors, you'll work on real-world projects that immerse you in the demands of the profession. You will learn to analyze client briefs, understand the target audience, technical and commercial constraints, and design a coherent visual identity.

Throughout the program, you will master essential graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and today's digital technologies, including AI applied to creative work. You will develop your artistic sense through the selection of typography, composition, image staging, and the creation of mock-ups and storyboards. You will explore visual communication in all its forms: logos, packaging, posters, social media content, and websites, in order to design impactful 360° campaigns.

In class, you will cover the full grammar and artistic culture of imagery and graphic design, while mastering the cultural universe of visual communication. The teaching combines artistic training — including drawing techniques, sketches, color theory, perspective, illustration, composition, and the history of visual art — with graphic design skills such as digital design, the graphic production process, visual identity guidelines, typography, pictogram creation, and the development of a high-level professional portfolio.

Throughout the program, you will be encouraged to sharpen your eye, critical thinking, and analytical skills to propose your own concepts and defend them both orally and in writing, just like in a professional studio.

Graduates are awarded:

  • A UK Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons), validated by London South Bank University
  • A French nationally recognised diploma.

This dual qualification ensures academic equivalence, international recognition, and strong employability across the UK, Europe and international markets.
