What will you study on the BA Business Management (Spanish)?
This is a four year full-time course with a year spent in a Spanish speaking country in the third year. We offer two different language pathways for beginners and intermediates.
You will be introduced to a range of disciplines within the broader world of business, including corporate culture and effective practices, and you will take two Spanish for Business language modules to develop skills and knowledge in writing and speaking Spanish. You will progress your language skills and develop your knowledge and understanding of the world of business with a particular focus on management principles. In Year 3 you will undertake a full year's placement or internship in the Spanish speaking world, linked to an HE partner institution, improving your skills through immersing yourself in the culture. Finally, you will be able to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business concepts and focus your Spanish language skills towards the world of business.
What will you gain?
You will learn to work effectively in teams, and be able to present and communicate business management ideas with confidence. We also ensure you develop specialist knowledge in:
