Latvian Maritime Academy (LMA) is the first and only institute in Latvia to provide higher maritime vocational education and training for the maritime industry on a regular basis.
The roots of maritime education in Latvia may be traced back more than 200 years. The first Maritime School in Riga was started in 1789.
