In today’s business world, social and technological changes follow each other at a rapid pace, shaking up entire markets, including customer expectations, supply chains and business models. In such an evolving field, there’s no sense in just doing business as usual.

The Master’s in Business Administration (BA) at the University of Twente will turn you into the innovative, entrepreneurial and highly sought-after business leader that can prepare businesses for the multifaceted challenges of tomorrow.

During the Master’s in Business Administration, you will learn how to develop and transform businesses. You will tackle complex and often cross-border business challenges in order to make companies sustainable for the future. This might involve improving economic performance, developing new markets, managing large-scale change projects, implementing digital solutions, enhancing corporate responsibility or managing talent.

Choose a specialisation:

As a student, you have a lot of freedom in tailoring your Master’s in Business Administration to suit your own interests and ambitions. We offer you many different kinds of specialisations that you will not easily find elsewhere, helping you to develop yourself as an expert.

At the start of the Master’s, you choose your specialisation. Within your specialisation, you will have the flexibility to customise your programme, but also to develop yourself in a specific domain recognisable for employers. Your choice of specialisation (partly) determines which courses you will follow and the type of research you will engage in during your master’s thesis. You can choose one of seven specialisations:

  • Digital Business & Analytics
  • Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy
  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • International Management & Consultancy
  • Purchasing & Supply Management
  • Strategic Marketing & Servitisation

Get two Master’s degrees:

Do you want to deepen your knowledge and extend your expertise beyond the Master’s in Business Administration? Go for a double degree! You have the unique opportunity to add a second master’s to your programme at one of our partner universities in Germany (Berlin), Italy (L’Aquila), or Finland (Lappeenranta). A double degree programme like this takes two years and upon successful completion, you will receive two Master’s degrees.

Career perspectives:

With a Master’s degree in Business Administration, you will be in high demand on the job market, both nationally and internationally. Graduates of this Master’s usually find exciting, challenging jobs within a few months after graduation, the majority even within a month after leaving!

Thanks to our focus on innovative and entrepreneurial processes, you will develop skill sets you can put to good use in a wide variety of organisations and functions in different sectors.
