The program aims to train professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle the increasing internationalization of the contemporary economic environment, as well as to address entrepreneurship and innovation processes, through a solid interdisciplinary foundation that includes managerial, economic, legal, and quantitative disciplines.
The Bachelor’s Degree in International Business & Entrepreneurship (MIBE) is taught entirely in English, with a particular focus on the international aspects of economic and business disciplines. Each disciplinary area is supported by established research traditions within the Department of Economic and Business Sciences.
The program provides the tools needed to operate in highly internationalized and globalized institutional contexts. It also equips students with managerial and analytical skills to understand the dynamics and opportunities of the Digital Economy and the managerial challenges of High Technology.
Specializations:
- International Management: This curriculum is designed to develop managers and consultants which bring their A-game within international contexts. It provides students not only with a wide knowledge of management theories but also with the skills necessary to apply this knowledge in multi-country and cross-cultural contexts, thus preparing them for a rewarding career in business and the strategic management of international organizations and multinational companies.
- Digital Management: This curriculum provides students with the managerial and analytical skills to help them understand the dynamics and potential of Digital Economy and Digital Transformation, including topics like: Web- and IT-based start-ups/companies, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech & Blockchain Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Implications of Industry 4.0 and in general management of Hi-Tech. Basic principles of Coding (e.g. Java Scripts & Python) are taken into consideration.
- Sustainable Management: This curriculum is aimed at providing students with cutting-edge knowledge, soft skills and a leadership approach on the management of corporate sustainability practices throughout the business value chain. Students will be provided with valuable, hands-on, career-oriented learning from internationally renowned leaders from the field and visiting professors, in order to enter the job market with a global perspective on sustainable management.

International Activities:
MIBE and University of Pavia have a large number of international exchange schemes together with Universities from all over the world, cooperate in projects with developing countries, and pursues research projects with the most advanced international laboratories.
The University also organizes Master and PhD research programmes, along with Erasmus study-abroad and foreign internship programmes, all of which collectively ensure a constant flow of ideas and resources.
