Changing Education is a two-year full-time international English-language master’s programme. The Faculty of Educational Sciences at University of Helsinki is well known for their expertise in studies on social justice and diversity in education, including sociological, cultural, psychological, philosophic, gender studies perspectives, as well as the use of educational psychology and neuroscientific insights. The programme is structured around three main areas:
The Master’s programme Changing Education offers theory-driven, science-based, and hands-on studies to future experts and change makers in education. The students in the programme will be offered multidisciplinary and innovative, research-based perspectives, knowledge and skills to analyse, develop, and influence the practices and structures of education systems, institutions, teaching and pedagogical issues.
