Find your own ‘unique voice’ and develop the ability to create positive change through innovative digital media content across a fast-developing range of platforms. This progressive Bachelor's programme in Creative Media Production is designed to meet the growing demand for media professionals who have a deep understanding of the digital landscape.

At its core is the combination of technical skills, creative thinking and social awareness with an emphasis on storytelling, giving you the confidence to graduate as a media specialist and practitioner in a wide variety of roles: from social media marketing to arts administration, and from video or radio production to journalism, scriptwriting or blogging.

• Create content for a range of audiences and delivery platforms.
• Learn advanced technical skills allowing you to devise, develop, pitch and deliver ideas for new formats and platforms used for transmitting and receiving content.
• Develop interpersonal skills, strengthening your ability to communicate confidently with professionals.
• Produce a professional portfolio that will demonstrate a high level of production skills as well as a ‘unique voice’.
• Work closely with industry practitioners and mentors, constantly reflecting and adapting to the current media marketplace.
• Enjoy regular seminars, workshops and guest speakers as part of our Media Innovation Technology Series.
• Option to enter this programme after completing PCU's one year Foundation programme in Art, Design and Media Practice.

Schedule:

Full-time students can expect to attend daily classes, with 16 hours per week in class, plus additional workshops & guest lectures. Further independent learning and group work is expected.

If you start in September, the programme takes 3 years to complete. If you start in February, there is a semester break between finishing year 1 and starting year 2, which begins in September only. During the gap semester you can undertake an internship or classes from another programme. The time to complete the programme is 3.5 years.
