This degree covers the theory and practice of cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology. You will study key concepts in leadership and management as well as the legal and ethical issues related to biomedical research and clinical practice. The course also provides a solid grounding in experimental design and statistics and you'll have the opportunity to undertake an independent research project under the guidance and supervision of an academic.
As well as an in-depth understanding of your subject, you will also gain advanced technical knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary rhythm management and clinical electrophysiology.In addition, you will acquire the design, critical analysis and practical skills necessary to carry out an individualised experimental research project.
