Description:

Are you passionate about games, films and special effects? Do you want to experiment and create content with state-of-the-art technology and software? Do you want to become a professional game developer, a game or VFX Artist, a 3D animator or a Sound Designer, or even start your own company? If so, then Digital Arts & Entertainment is a three-year full-time Bachelor's programme designed for you!

There are 6 majors to choose from :

  • 3D &VFX

  • 3D Animation

  • Game Graphics Production

  • Game Development

  • Sound Design

  • Independent Game Production

Our curriculum consists of 180 ECTS-points in a 3-year structure and includes a 30 ECTS in-company internship in Belgium or abroad.

This programme is entirely taught in English.

Depending on the major you pick, you will primarily be taught technical or artistic skills. Whichever major you go for, only enter this study programme if you are dedicated and committed to putting in the time and effort, and if you have the ‘grit’ this journey will require. Weekly Activities & Community Events:

DAE hosts a wide range of student-led and staff-supported initiatives. A few examples:

  • Study Nights (every Thursday): work together, join workshops or guest lectures, get help from peers, and unwind afterwards with board games, music, or themed events like Halloween pumpkin carving.
  • Clubs & Hobbies: From games and sports to art, theatre, and niche hobbies, DAE offers clubs for every interest. And if something’s missing, you’re free to start your own.
  • Guilds: focused communities where students collaborate around shared interests, such as:
    • Level Up – concept art & illustration
    • The Sandbox – game design & prototyping
    • ZGuild – real-time 3D character creation

Our active Discord community keeps everyone up to date on events, workshops, and activities, while the Student Hub offers a platform to share work, get feedback, and collaborate.
