Students who are citizens of the EU/EEA:

The average tuition fees for students from the EU/EEA are 8,800 EUR per year, ranging from 3,600 EUR to 18,000 EUR.

Students who are citizens from outside the EU/EEA:

The average tuition fees for students from outside the EU/EEA are 15,900 EUR per year, ranging from 14,800 EUR to 18,000 EUR.

Tuition fees may vary for each study programme.

Application deadlines

Programmes start in February and August. To begin your studies in February, you should apply before 1 November the preceding year. To begin your studies in August, you should apply before 1 May.

Non-EEA students are strongly advised to apply as early as possible to increase the chance of successfully obtaining a student visa in time.

English requirements

When you apply to the Hotelschool The Hague, you will need to prove your English proficiency.

  • This university accepts IELTS. The general minimum IELTS score is 6.0 overall for Bachelors degrees and 6.0 overall for Masters degrees.
  • This university accepts TOEFL iBT. The general minimum TOEFL score is 80 overall for Bachelors degrees and 80 overall for Masters degrees.
  • This university accepts Cambridge English certificates (CAE/CPE).
  • This university accepts other proofs of English proficiency.

    You can demonstrate sufficient English proficiency if you followed at least two years of full-time education with English as the language of instruction in the preceding three calendar years.

Please note that the required English scores for admission may vary for certain programmes.
