Applied Learning Methodology for Hotel Management:

CETT-UB develops an applied learning model focused on decision-making in real hospitality management environments. Through business challenges, comprehensive projects, and strategic simulations, students integrate operational, financial, and organizational perspectives, understanding the complexity of hotel management in global contexts. The model is structured around five methodological pillars:

  • Challenge-Based Learning (CBL): you will work on real challenges posed by hotels, chains, and international groups, addressing decisions related to expansion, repositioning, revenue optimization, enhancement of the guest experience, and the development of new accommodation projects.
  • Project-Based Learning (PBL): you will develop comprehensive hotel management projects, from strategic definition to operational implementation, integrating financial analysis, team organization, property positioning, commercial strategy, and economic and financial feasibility.

  • Leadership development through experiential methodologies: through dynamics such as Outdoor Training, Lego® Serious Play, Insight Discovery®, and other executive development tools, you will work on team management, decision-making in high-pressure operational environments, and leadership in complex organizational contexts typical of the hospitality industry.
  • Strategic management of hotel projects: you will apply frameworks such as Agile to plan, coordinate, and execute projects in complex organizational environments, integrating professional industry tools such as GNA Solutions, STR... for performance analysis, revenue optimization, and strategic decision-making focused on business profitability.
