These Terms & Conditions apply to all promotions, prize draws and prize competitions arranged by Study.eu GmbH, Hamburg, Germany (“Study.eu” or “the promoter”), unless other terms are specified in the promotion’s description. As such, any promotion’s respective description forms a part of these Terms & Conditions.
Prize draws of physical prizes which require shipping as well as cash or cash-equivalent prizes, including vouchers, are open only to EEA residents unless otherwise specified. Prize draws of digital prizes are open to residents of any country unless otherwise specified. Participants must be of full age in their respective country of residence, or otherwise obtain their legal guardian’s permission to participate.
Employees of the promoter, of third-party prize suppliers or other third parties associated with the promotion, along with their families, are excluded from taking part.
Eligibility criteria for participation in the prize draw are specified in the promotion’s description. They must be followed in whole in order to participate in the draw. Any participant may only participate once. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the promotion in question, as well as future promotions.
Participation is possible until 23:59 CET / CEST on the date specified in the promotion’s description.
The winner(s) will be randomly drawn from all eligible participants after the specified closing date. They will be notified in the manner most suitable to the channel in which the promotion was placed, e.g. via Facebook message for a promotion on Facebook or via e-mail for a promotion in an e-mail newsletter. By participating, participants grant their consent to be contacted by the promoter in the manner deemed most suitable by the promoter. The winner(s) are required to confirm their details, via the same communication medium, within 7 days of notification, with their full name, e-mail address, postal address, and contact telephone number. If the winner(s) are unreachable or otherwise fail to respond to the notification with all details within the above time, their prize is forfeited. The promoter then reserves the right to randomly draw another winner from the promotion's participants.
The promoter’s decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner(s) agree to their names being published on the promoter’s channels, including but not limited to its website, Facebook page, Twitter profile and e-mail newsletters.
The prizes are specified in the promotion’s description. Prizes are as described, non-negotiable, and non-transferable. Prizes can not be exchanged for cash or any alternative option. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an equivalent alternative if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. The promoter furthermore reserves the right to amend or foreclose the promotion with or without notice if exceptional circumstances arise.
The winner(s) bear the shipment risk of the prize(s), regardless of shipping method.
The promoter accepts no liability for the prize or for any loss or damage arising in relationship with its issue.
By participation, participants give their consent that their personal data is stored by the promoter for the promotion and thereafter in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Participants can opt to withdraw this consent at any time, thereby withdrawing from participation in the prize draw. Furthermore, participants give their consent that their personal data may be used for marketing and market research purposes. Participants can opt to withdraw this consent at any time.
The participants are aware that there may be additional terms & conditions, end-user licence agreements (EULAs) or other obligations associated with the prize(s) and the channel via which the prize draw is promoted, and that these additional terms are outside of the promoter’s control.
Any promotion organised by the promoter is governed by German law unless otherwise specified.
