Today, there is a growing, global industry developing novel technologies to further advance modern health care. This advanced master’s programme enables students to specialise in this domain, as they learn to design, develop and implement technological solutions for the healthcare sector.

About the programme:

The development of novel technologies has long been a key driver in the advancement of modern health care. Technologies that better enable medical doctors, therapists and other careproviders to identify symptoms, perform diagnoses, carry out surgery, cure diseases, programme therapy and follow up patients’ progress.

Today, there is a global industry developing novel technologies to further advance contemporary health care. The Advanced Master of Innovative Health Technology aims to contribute to this evolution by offering students the opportunity to specialise in this versatile and diverse domain, where they will learn to design, develop and implement practical and pragmatic technological solutions for the healthcare sector.

This programme has a specific focus on the integration of different technologies and methodologies into usable systems. Recent trends in wearable sensors, bioelectronics, artificial intelligence, robotics and healthcare apps are combined to inspire students to conceive and implement novel integrated solutions that can be tested and used by patients and health care professionals.

Programme Master of Innovative Health Technology:

In this one-year programme, you are required to take six compulsory course units on engineering technology, entrepreneurship and additional topics relating to the human body. You will also learn to work in an interdisciplinary and international team in the Health Engineering Experience project. Finally, you will also complete a master’s thesis and internship.
