Studying at CODE will be unlike any other higher education experience. Our intensive, interdisciplinary bachelor programs are designed to dramatically improve the way you work and to prepare you for the reality of tomorrow’s workplace.
Innovative study programs:
CODE offers three bachelor programs for young talents striving to become developers, designers and digital entrepreneurs.
Creating something meaningful:
The core of our study programs are real-world projects, accompanied by seminars and workshops with an advanced flipped-classroom concept.
Challenge-based learning:
Assisted by a mentor, you will evolve your competencies, learn how to collaborate, and reach your full potential.
Positive impact on society:
A Science, Technology and Society Program that supports a broad horizon and a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving.
At CODE you will experience a new way of learning. Our experiential learning approach enables you to acquire core competences that help you succeed in a dynamically changing world – even in fields that don’t yet exist.
The science of learning:
To effectively learn something, you shouldn’t just passively absorb selected facts and ready-made content to reproduce for the next exam. Information is best remembered when it is applied and embedded in a context of practical meaning. That’s where the experiential learning approach comes into play.
Our educational approach:
The challenging projects you work on, and the reflection on your experiences within these projects, let you come to a deep understanding of fundamental concepts that are relevant to you because they connect with your experience.
The right mindset:
You can then try to apply those concepts to your next challenge and learn more about its practical importance. After mastering a number of challenges in this fashion, you will develop what we call a pioneer’s mindset: a confidence in your ability to master yet unknown challenges by analyzing them critically, acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary, and effectively communicating and collaborating with others.
