Children and youth around the world are growing up and living under very different circumstances, yet they still share many experiences. Delivered entirely online and part-time (50%), this two-year English-taught Master’s Programme in Child and Youth Studies gives you a deepened understanding of the various conditions that shape, restrict and promote the experiences of young people.
The programme offers a unique opportunity to understand the shared and divergent experiences of children and youth around the world, and the theoretical, methodological and practical tools to improve their lives. Theoretical knowledge from different disciplines and up-to-date research are the basis for the programme, which combined with multi-professional competencies and experiences provides a solid ground for working with child and youth related issues.
The programme has an international focus, both in terms of content and the people you’ll meet. Throughout your studies you’ll cover perspectives and research on the living conditions of children and youth in different parts of the world. Additionally, you’ll study together and exchange experiences with students from different countries in an international online study environment.
