On this course, we’ll build your specialist knowledge in full stack design and development for websites and web applications, covering DevOps, database design, as well as modern tools.
Utilising Agile project management processes that mirror the industry, this course will prepare you for a sustainable career in web application development. What’s more, being based within the Games Academy’s development teams, you’ll be surrounded by potential clients.
Choose between a three-year degree or a four-year degree with a year of professional practice. While you must select one for your UCAS application, you’ll have the chance to change your decision up to the end of your second year.
Our graduates could go on to work as programmers, webmasters, app developers, database designers, UX designers, DevOps engineers, web analysts, server administrators and IT consultants within this dynamic and creative technology sector.
Throughout this web development course, you’ll gain specialist knowledge in full stack design and development for websites and web applications. Following user-centred processes, you’ll learn to analyse, design, evaluate and implement products. You’ll also learn programming principles and regulatory knowledge from the ground up, and take on multidisciplinary team-based projects using Agile.
Much of your learning will come from collaboration and project development in multi-skilled teams. Alongside this, you’ll learn through practical workshops, crit sessions, mentoring, guest speakers, demonstrations and studio practice, as well as regular lectures, seminars and tutorials.
