The advanced Master of Arts program in Music Management provides a strong foundation to students with working experience aiming for careers in the international music industry.
The program highlights current and evolving critical topics ranging from the digital market landscape, evolving copyright laws and industry practices, to how technology continuously affects society and music consumption. Business models are discussed from legacy perspectives while examining current affairs and looking ahead into the future.
International academic lecturers as well as music business professionals prepare the students for dynamic shifts in creative, operational and commercial requirements for the global music market, combining theory and practice of music & media studies, economics and legal competencies.
The program’s low-residency (hybrid lecturing) enables conventional students and working professionals to study while maintaining and building their careers. Interactive teaching atmosphere, international excursions and intensive networking stimulate the individually specialized development of each of our students.
The Austrian Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) supports the Music Management program by granting partial scholarships.
