The degree programme is designed to equip graduates with sound cultural, scientific and professional training in the following sectors: crop productions and their protection; ornamental and urban green area and landscaping systems, and related environmental recovery/rehabilitation procedures; the protection of crops from calamities to guarantee competitive and sustainable productions.
Graduates from the master’s degree programme can pursue careers in the following sectors:
Application and admission: Open with entry requirements examination.
Students must have level B1 proficiency in English.
Proficiency may be certified at the time of matriculation by submitting a certificate of level B1 language proficiency or better, or by sitting the SLAM (University Language Centre) Placement test during the first year of studies only, in September
The adequacy of the applicant's personal academic preparation for admission to the master's degree programme is assessed through personal interview.
Double degree
Students with in-depth knowledge of foreign languages who wish to complete part of their university studies abroad may complete periods of study in various foreign universities, thereby obtaining an academic qualification from both their home university and the foreign one (Double Degree).
In particular, the degree course in Crops and Plant Sciences activated an agreement with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) in Japan, which allows the acquisition of both the Italian and Japanese degrees.
