Combine undergraduate and postgraduate study to earn a masters degree. Aligned to professional accountancy bodies, this course includes opportunities to apply for finance internships.
The MAccFin Accounting and Finance course is over four years. The first two years contribute undergraduate study, the third year is a combination of undergraduate and postgraduate modules and the final fourth year enables you to progress to a full set of postgraduate modules. The outcome is a masters degree in Accounting and Finance.
If you are taking the full-time route you can choose to take an optional placement year after your second year (in the UK or overseas).
The course provides you with opportunities to apply for relevant accounting and finance internships with regional employers. For many of you this can mean four summer internships which equates to one year’s work experience. This enables you to apply what you are learning in practice and builds up invaluable experience on your CV.
We’ve designed the MAccFin Accounting and Finance course to ensure that, if you select the relevant module pathway, you’ll be eligible to apply for exemptions offered by ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and AIA – which means you can achieve membership of your professional body quicker and accelerate your career progression.
