University of Jena’s new English-language Master’s programme International Organisations and Crisis Management (IOCM) provides excellent students with the unique opportunity to combine three topical areas of study.
In addition, the IOCM programme allows students to enrich their curriculum with a wide range of electives and interdisciplinary course offers.
Our Master’s in International Organisations and Crisis Management prepares you for a wide range of attractive careers focusing on international affairs. These include jobs in international governmental and non-governmental organisations, national and regional ministries and administrations, international and national think tanks, the media, industry and economic associations as well as universities.
Jena is located in Thuringia. About one quarter of the 105.000 inhabitants of the city are students. 18,000 of them are registered at our university with its more than 200 programmes. The campus and many other university facilities are located in the city centre within walking distance. The city and its surroundings offer a pleasant mix of city life and culture as well as nature and leisure activities.
We recruit bright students from all continents to ensure a classroom as international as possible and are looking for diverse disciplinary backgrounds. For the admission to the M.A. “International Organisations and Crisis Management” we evaluate a number of criteria, including the final grade of the first university degree, knowledge in fields relevant to our programme, and proven English skills on C1-level.
