Can you name a business or organisation that does not use computer technology or information systems? This course will prepare you for a wide range of jobs in any organisation that relies on information systems, whether these are small personal computers in an office, or large systems with thousands of users implemented by multinational companies.
What is an information system?
An information system is a combination of computers, information technologies, people and business processes that work together to help an organisation to achieve its goals.
Graduates of this course will be able to work with programmers and salespeople, technicians and CEOs to understand and speak with authority on the information needs of an organisation, no matter how big or small. The course is an excellent blend of Business practice and information systems, that will produce graduates able to bridge the gap between the IT Department and the functional departments such as Finance, HR, Operations and Manufacturing.
